  1. Included in this archive are the newest versions of the NoisePacker 2.0/3.0
  2. replayers for DeliTracker v1.21 and up.
  3.  
  4. While completely functional at the moment, they do not contain everything that
  5. I wanted to include.  The complete versions with some extra features and source,
  6. will be included with the next full release of DeliTracker itself.
  7.  
  8. This version (1.4) adds the following:
  9.  
  10. o   More robust and correct module checking code between NP2/NP3 and others.
  11.  
  12. o   A configuration port from the DT preferences screen that will allow
  13.     the player to report the correct size of the module, before playing or
  14.     failing.  Handy if you have just obtained a NP2/NP3 module and it won't
  15.     play because the length is probably wrong.  Turn the option on, and
  16.     voila...the size is given.  Just clip it down with Hex or whatever to the
  17.     needed size.

  19. o   Some code cleaning.

  21. If you've never used the 'config' from DT - here's how:
  22.  
  23. 1)  Bring up the preferences window.
  24. 2)  Scroll around until the NOISEPACKER_2.0 or NOISEPACKER_3.0 players show up.
  25. 3)  Click on the one you wish to config.
  26. 4)  Click on the CONFIG gadget.
  27. 5)  Reply to the requester.

  29. The module size reporting is OFF by default.  Enable it as you need it, and
  30. turn it off once done.  It gets annoying if you leave it on...:)

  32. ** The replayers both require the excellent REQTOOLS, (C) by Nico François.
  33. ** They *might* not config if run under 1.3!  Since everyone has 2.0 though,
  34. ** this is not a problem 8-)...
  35. ** If this is so, please drop me a note and I'll make them 1.3 friendly too.

  40. Files sizes are 2700 and 2800 bytes for NP2 and NP3, respectively.
